Her Blind-Spot Detective

When it all occurs, the happy animals run spiritedly around the planet

They’re feeling fully good because their fruity insides are same outside

Matched one for one: power for stability, resources for consumables

She can’t see this earthly carnival—mind focused on ugly morbidity

The weakness in her fingernails, or her crow-eyed mask of makeup

It’s all a spiral of disappointments, unraveling from birthday sweaters

Our sunlight blows with power of straight lines to reflective shine

As the wind trucks, buffeting us with billows’ wings, puffing us fresh

she’s a curved surface; she turns it on itself, all up in its energy cloak

So I shuttle a message toward her black hole boundaries at night:

You’re human, and you wear skin. Wait. Open eye. Skin isn’t perfect

Look at each spot of life, dear; you’ll see all with clear eyes dimensional

The overlapping, deep-defining holistic picture—it’s truest, lovely Trout

Trust me, I’m your gutter singularity investigator; your blind-spot detective

Pump me up and I’ll track your lost highways, your star-speckled homesteads

until you run freely again with the fruity, happy animals around the planet
