Vultures look graceful up in the clear sky,
But get one face to face,
And they aren’t so pretty plucking the flesh off your ribcage.
With bulging black-stone eyes and ragged gray feathers,
All your organs will drop straight humpty-lump to the pucker of your anus.
But a hawk isn’t any better,
Except, before death, you see fierce beauty and pride,
With a vulture you just see ugly and then die.
